About Me: Brenda Washington

Thank you for visiting my website. I am delighted to introduce Educational Enrichment Strategies, Therapeutic Services at Play, a dedicated private practice agency that focuses on education, enrichment, and strategic collaboration with our community partners to enhance the lives of children, adolescents, families, individuals, and couples. You may have arrived here feeling overwhelmed and in search of support, perhaps you are confronting a family crisis, grappling with a traumatic event, or simply aiming to step out of your comfort zone. Regardless of your reasons for visiting, please know that you are warmly welcome.

As a clinical social worker with over twenty-five years of experience in child welfare, I bring my own set of flaws, challenges, and victories into this space. Significant life disruptions have redefined my existence and led me to take risks I would have never previously contemplated. Hope has been crucial to my own journey when the unexpected happened. In my previous jobs, I counseled many children and families in desperate situations and witnessed some transform their lives by embracing hope and finding a newfound sense of purpose and rerouting their road map. A spiritual leader once told me that " Hope is goal setter", that sustains, strengthens, and hold us while waiting for transformation. Through my own personal metamorphosis ,I can affirm that hope remains a steady and powerful force during life’s transitions, no matter the circumstances.”

As I begin this new journey, I remain sustained by hope. I feel invigorated and extend an open invitation for you to join me. My mission is steadfast: to provide the highest standard of service with unwavering professional integrity and accountability. Above all, I am committed to offering accessible care in an environment that welcomes all—an environment rooted in hope and optimism as we strategize for the future.

Respectfully,

Brenda Washington. LCSW.RPT
